We've finished and cured the Mottling, Veining and Blue Shading layers, we're done with everything needed to create the illusion of blood flowing under the skin. Now its time to add some skin! As a follow-up to the Complexion Layers video, I wanted to quickly address a question that I get a lot: "How many complexion layers do I need on my reborn baby doll?" The simple and most correct answer is "As many as you want!" :) But for a beginner, that's probably not a satisfying answer. This video shows in detail how the most popular complexion premixes (Flesh 02 - Flesh 08) change as additional layers are added. apply additional complexion layers to: - cover mottling that is too dark - cover veins that are too dark - create a creamier complexion on Flesh 08 babies Check out the video below and my article on Using Complexion Premixes for more info! If you're reborning with me, I decided to go ahead a film that second complexion layer so you can see how it changes the look of the doll. Enjoy! How about Biracial Reborn Dolls? Check it out!

Well, I don't have an exact number, but I reborned for years before I ever emptied by first jar. Maybe 10 to 15 dolls.

Hi I'm just starting out and I see that the heat set paint is sold out in many websites I try to order from what would be a good alternative paint to use to start reborning

AuthorHi! I am Kim. I've been creating dolls all my life. I started stuffing cotton balls into my mom's pantyhose when I was a little girl. Now I hand-craft dolls that look and feel like real babies. Archives
