I've been getting a lot of questions about Dewy Skin, so I decided to try it out!
Dewy Skin medium, by Precious Little Baby Dust, is a heat-set medium that can be used to seal the paint, create lifelike skin texture and sheen for glowing baby skin. Through my tests, I found that it works fine for all of these purposes. Few notes: - Add time (not heat) for a proper cure. 15 minutes at 250 F works well for me. - Bake while wet for sheen. Let it dry then bake for matte. - I forgot to cure a piece and left it over night. It turned white like matte varnish would, but did bake clear. Hi ive just used the dewy skin medium mixed with a tad of genesis warm blush and the results are lovely. Thanks so much for covering this subject. I enjoy watching all your tutorials and appreciate also the fact you reply to your viewers comments as well. Many dont bother. i never baked straight away but never left for to long so to achieve a mid way dewy finish but added a bit more to the soles of the feet prior to baking which i think are bit more dewy looking.

I know with the the final seal they say you should cure it three times with letting it cool between each cure.

Please HELP! I used the Dewy Skin to seal my reborn which I painted with GHS paint. She ended up being very shiny. I thought maybe the shine would fade so I finished rooting her and putting her together (yeah I know, stupid). She was only my second reborn though. I thought maybe she needed to "dry". Well of course that wasn't the case. So now since she is rooted with hair and all put together is there anything I can do to fix her? I was wondering if I could put an air dry type of matt finish over top of the GHS paint? If so what would you recommend? Would that fix her without having to take her apart and bake her? If not what do I do with her rooted head and eyelashes? Can my baby be saved? Any advice?
