Little Bobby has a story that he asked me to share. He knows you're going to love it, because its true.
Once upon a time, a Doll Artist started making a surprise portrait doll of her nephew. A few things in the painting did not quite go right. Before he knew it, the little baby was lost in inventory - not knowing when he would ever be finished.
Then one day, a beautiful lady saw his picture and it was love at first sight! The Artist was hesitant to sell her nephew, at first. But at the same time, like the baby, she didn't know when he would get finished. "He'd be so much happier in a home where he's being loved," she thought, "than sitting unfinished in my workshop." So she gave him a "boo boo" price and a deal was made. He was rescued from inventory! This little baby was finally going home!

Where a partially rooted section of hair once was, he got beautifully painted hair. His sweet eyes turned from brown to blue. He even got a new name too! This almost forgotten baby was finally born!
Realizing that she was going to miss this little guy, the Artist put extra love into sending him off. He was dressed with love and packed with care. After a few days in transit, he was finally there. He was finally HOME. And he and his new Mommy lived happily ever after.

The End
Explanatory Note: If you're wondering why this video talks about a "Maker" and a "Father" when Bobby's story is about an Artist and a Mommy, let me tell you my story.
Reborning is a long and painstaking process. Layers upon layers of skin detail. Hair added often one strand at a time. One strand at a time. And yet I love it because I am reminded that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I'm reminded that someone knows how many individual strands of hair are on my head. That same someone looked past my flaws and rescued me from a fate far worse than being lost in a messy inventory closet. And that same someone gave me new eyes - a new vision. And a new name - a new purpose. And that same someone has promised to one day dress me up like a princess bride and bring me HOME. A home where I'll be showered in love forever.
So I share Bobby's story because it reminds me so much of my own story. A story where the Artist and the Mommy are one in the same, the Father and the Maker, Jesus Christ. Who rescued me and will one day bring me to my Heavenly Home.
