Before beginning the reborning process, we need to take care of a few things...
This video will walk you through all the stuff I bought to create this baby doll. I'll also give a detailed tutorial on opening the eye sockets and inserting half-round eyes. And we'll wrap it up with posing the baby for Before Photos. Note: Before Photos are optional. I like to take them because it makes the process more fun for mommies. But you'll save time if you skip it. In fact, when I create several dolls from the same doll kit, I'll keep reusing the original Before Photos!

Hey, I just wanted to first let you know I love how you offer so much detailed information and help for aspiring artist like myself and your babies are simply adorable! It means alot to me that someone is willing to take the time to teach others how to create such a beautiful treasure! I did however have a question...I was just wondering are there other places you buy your kits from? I have seen so many tutorials but they never really say where they have brought their items from. When I search online there are soooo many places that offer them but I would rather purchase from a trusted seller. Do you have any suggestions?

I was wondering if I could use cable ties instead of the strings on the body. Not crazy about the strings unless are they eventually hidden. You are awesome by the way.

Do you bake the vinyl pieces between each paint layer? Maybe I missed that part. Some tutorials that I have seen says to bake between layers at 265 degrees for 8-9 minutes. Thank you in advance. I am enjoying your tutorials!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I have only recently been introduced to reborns and have fallen in love. I would like to know if you provide a stater kit for a person to get started? I have no clue what to get and from where. I have seen a picture of Harper boy who I think is just too beautiful.

AuthorHi! I am Kim. I've been creating dolls all my life. I started stuffing cotton balls into my mom's pantyhose when I was a little girl. Now I hand-craft dolls that look and feel like real babies. Archives
